Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

The environment and staff was great. Love the option of indoor and outdoor seating. The Meadle-Earth burger was okay. I felt the patty was a little dry but the caramelized onions and mead mushrooms did bring it up a little bit. The wheat bread is welcomed as it is a heath-conscious item, but I feel it didn’t help the dryness of the meat. Sweet potato fries were good, and so were the Goblin (fried) Pickles. I appreciated the light batter on the pickles. I am not a huge LOTR fan but I do appreciate the niche stylistic choices and themed food items. I also did not drink during my visit but I appreciate the large Mead, Beer, and wine selection.

Great casual place that has been around for a while. It is nice that it is themed, and all of the dishes are good. Atmosphere is great, and staff is fast, though you sometimes have to wait for a table at peak. I recommend the prancing pony hickory burger and the enchiladas, as well as the onion rings.

It was a fun experience. Lots on the menu in terms of food and libations. The food was good, not great but the overall vibe more than made up for it. We'll go again when we're in town.
