Hocco in Paramus is a fantastic spot for Indian cuisine! The place is very clean and new, with a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered the Amritsari chole and the signature chole with poori, and both were absolutely delicious—rich, comforting, and perfectly cooked. The salmon tikka was another standout: incredibly flavorful with just the right balance of herbs and spices. To top it all off, the warm brownie with ice cream was amazingly good and the perfect ending to the meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great Indian food in the area!

REAL TANDOOR COOKING 🔥 Attached photos are garlic naan, butter chicken, and chicken tikka masala with fresh basmati rice. The naan is crisp, chewy, and fresh, and the chicken is juicy with that real tandoor flavor. Not pictured: the mango lassi (delicious sweet treat), tandoor lamb chops, Chicken 65, and Malai Paneer — all amazing and perfect to take home. F Everything is fresh and balanced with just the right amount of spice. Prices are better than anywhere for this quality, and the service is quick but never rushed. You can grab food to go or hang out with a bottle of wine and enjoy. The owners are warm, hardworking, and genuinely love sharing their food and culture. They make you feel welcome and help you discover something new. Paramus is lucky to have this place. I stop in every time I’m in town and it always delivers. Long overdue review for people who truly care about what they serve. Clean plate club every time. Wife agrees that this is the best Indian food we have ever had.

Excellent garlic naan and paneer. I got the saagwala with paneer and tikka masala with lamb, along with garlic naan. The garlic naan was thin, buttery, crispy with a chew, and had a good char—just how I like it. The paneer had a good texture and the saagwala was smooth with good flavor. I am more accustomed to palak paneer or saag paneer at other places where the sauce isn’t as blended, but this one grew on me eventually. The tikka masala with lamb was good, but the sauce was not as smooth as I imagined. It also had pieces of star anise that were not pleasant to bite into. Still overall, a very good experience.
