⭐️⭐️⭐️½ Overall, I’d give this place a 3.5. The ramen was good, but the spicy ramen I ordered lacked a bit of flavor, and the beef wasn’t the best. I also ordered the crab rangoons, but unfortunately couldn’t taste any crab—just cream cheese from what I could tell. On the positive side, the boba tea was delicious! I also really appreciated that they offer a kid’s ramen option with plain broth and chicken, which is a great touch. The restaurant itself is small, and when we visited on a winter night it was surprisingly very cold inside. However, the staff was extremely friendly and clearly hardworking. I’d be willing to give this place another try—next time I’d just order a different ramen.

First time here. Cozy, comfortable and roomy. No wait to be seated. Service was fast and efficient. Specialty sushi/sushimi rolls are smaller in portion than some sushi places I've been to but the lower prices reflected the smaller size. Of the 4 rolls we had, the Sexy Roll was our fave. Followed closely by the Rock and Roll. The Philadelphia Roll was good but not a stand-out. The bowls they offer are large and delicious. The seared salmon was on point. The fried spring rolls were perfectly fried and also tasty. My personal favorite was the Firecracker(?) shrimp appetizer! 🤌🏼🤌🏼Sorry about the pics, we had started enjoying it before I remembered to snap the photos! 😬🤷🏽♂️😂 Also, the close proximity to the Xtream Center and central location between the parking garage and the venue make it super convenient. Highly recommend!

Our experience at Hokkaido was amazing. And they were open after a snow storm when most places were not. I ordered the Tonkotsu (pictured) and my husband ordered the Tom Yum. I'm glad I went non spicy this time as I tried my husband's and it was VERY spicy. The service was fast and everything was so tasty. I'd love to say we will be back but we were just visiting Iowa. I feel like the price was perfect too. We both ordered ramen and an appetizer to split and our total was $48. Highly recommend!
