Had a lovely valentine brunch here. I have to say everything was delicious. I am not a complainer if I was the only complaint I would have is that my hot tea was a little bit cool for how I like it. And my food temperature was a little colder than I prefer. I’m choking that up to Valentine’s Day because of course they were very busy. They have a great system where you can get on their waitlist while you’re still at home. So it was super easy to sign up on the waitlist and then just show up 5 to 10 minutes before our suggested arrival time. Not sure why more places don’t do it this way. I will definitely be back. My eggs Benedict was delicious and my husband had the meatloaf and grits.

From start to finish it was a lovely experience! Joined the wait-list online, hostess was kind, server was super sweet, so many options, and food was delicious. Would recommend and definitely visit again!

I was excited to try Homegrown after seeing their amazing menu — especially happy to see several gluten-free options. The drinks were outstanding! We had the Honeybee Latte and the Green Juice, both absolutely fabulous. The food was a mixed experience. My avocado toast looked beautiful and was plated perfectly, but unfortunately, the avocado itself had no flavor, which was a big disappointment. On the other hand, my friend’s lemon ricotta pancakes were a hit — she said they were absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely give Homegrown another try, but next time I’ll be ordering something other than the avocado toast.
