Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

This experience is the first time in a while I’ve been extremely impressed by a breakfast spot. Most breakfast places are very similar but honey berry has a super fun and different menu that still includes the classics. Service and food was amazing. Our food maybe took 5 minutes, and when served I was shocked by the giant portion sizes. We ordered the home made biscuits and gravy with banana chocolate cakes, and the chiliquiles with cinnamon roll cakes. The biscuits were huge and fluffy, the pancakes were light and airy, and the hashbrowns were perfectly crispy. My vanilla latte was also delicious. Total was $54 for 2 meals (including an up charge for specialty pancakes), and 2 coffees (one being a latte). I think the price is extremely fair for the portions you get. We definitely had left overs for another meal. This was our first visit and I can’t wait to come back and try out more menu items! Unfortunately I don’t remember our servers name but she was wonderful!

We went to Honey Berry Pancake Cafe yesterday because it looks really nice and modern from the outside, and we were honestly excited to try it. The atmosphere is cute and trendy, which is probably why it draws people in. Unfortunately, the food just did not live up to the appearance. The pancakes were overly sweet — to the point where it overpowered everything else. Instead of tasting homemade or balanced, it felt more like eating dessert first thing in the morning. The eggs also were flavorless and just not enough salt. There wasn’t much depth of flavor, and everything just kind of tasted flat underneath the sweetness. We also left feeling really bloated and uncomfortable, which isn’t what you want after breakfast. It just felt heavy and not in a satisfying way. I really wanted to love this place because it looks so nice, but for us, the flavor just wasn’t there. Maybe others will enjoy the sweeter style, but it wasn’t for us.

It was a nice place. The best time to visit is in the morning. Obviously, they have a big sitting area so you don’t have to worry about two for awaiting in line but we went for brunch and also confirmed the food was nice and delicious. I ordered an orio waffle, which was quite sweet from my state but tasted good. It was OK good I would definitely suggest visiting once
