Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Hope Breakfast Bar in Edina offers a fantastic selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes alongside all the classic breakfast temptations—think pancakes, waffles, and fried chicken. There’s truly something for everyone, whether you’re craving comfort food or looking for plant-based options. They also have a full bar, plus plenty of creative non-alcoholic drink choices. The space is kid-friendly and very casual, yet still maintains an upscale, welcoming ambiance. Service can be a bit slow, mainly because the place is popular and often busy, but the food is absolutely worth the wait. It’s a great spot to relax, chat with friends, and enjoy a laid-back meal—as long as you’re not in a rush. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Centennial Lakes area of Edina!

Not quite sure how this place is below 4 stars. My girlfriend and I bellied up to the bar when the entryway was full and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Started off with a really good Americano for her and a Tito’s bloody mary for me. The bartender, Irasema, was busy and focused on the rush but was happy to have us and took our order 🙂. We were shocked when our food came out within 10 minutes after our drinks! My gf ordered the chili crunch bowl add carnitas and I went with the avocado toast with poached egg and a side of loaded hashbrowns. Both entrees were topped with pickled veggies which she was a fan of but I could have gone without. The food was very good and we were very impressed with our first visit.

MAKE A RESERVATION! Walked in around 12pm Saturday- was busy and waited 30 min for a seat. Seating was messy, walked in when I got the seat ready text. The host overlooked us and when I said we were next she assumed I was being defensive when I just wanted to state my presence. It was annoying - we eventually got seated. Our waitress came to take our order within 10 min. We ordered and food came 30 min later. Drank the Pistachio carmon, it was delicious but nothing spectacular. Ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs and monkey cakes. CFS came cold and was disappointed but the flavor was nice. Monkey cakes were delicious (as a peanut butter lover myself) Would come again but with a table reservation
