Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I want to give them 5 stars, and I might, someday. The food was a solid 3. The cupcakes and service brought this up to 4. The burgers that they're well known for are only available on Sunday's (of course I went on a Saturday). I tried the soulfood, instead. The price wasn't bad for a specialty food. $12 for an entree(meat substitute) and 2 sides. I ordered the fried cauliflower, mac and cheese, and yams. That mac can be it's own meal. It tastes AMAZING. The yams were standard, but tasty. The cauliflower was cooked perfectly but the batter/ breading was extremely salty. I also ordered cornbread which was burnt on the top and bottom. They sell cupcakes from a vendor called "the cupcake lady"... just buy them. They're amazing and worth every penny. I will try the food again. Judging by other reviews, I may have just caught them on an off day.

To be honest it wasn't that great for $56 for 2 people for take out...The greens were so salty, my mac and cheese was dry...my husband got the citrus bowl option which was amazing. They did not tell us it's extra for Mac and Cheese as a side, they charged more for the iced tea then it stated on the glass, and the two female employees were terrible. If a customer comes into your store and says " Hello we have never been here before but are super excited and you don't reply....HORRIBLE " The young man plating our food was better than the females. Not sure if I'll ever go back. Who wants to spend over $50 for that...and to sit in your car to eat out of a box...

The food is so good that you won’t even remember it’s plant based. Everything I’ve tried has been fantastic, better than most places I’ve eaten at even in bigger cities. A must try for vegans and non vegans alike.
