I just wanted something light for breakfast. After scouring the menu for exactly what I wanted, I landed on a tomato jam toast. Sourdough bread with some sort of cream sauce, arugula (that may have been a little too charred), cooked grape/cherry tomatoes with a tomato jam on top. Everything really worked together on this toast and I loved the natural sweetness of the tomatoes and the jam..it tasted a bit like I was having my mom's spaghetti sauce. They have filtered water on tap. It's roomy, bright, and clean. There's tables, or if you'd like you can grab a seat at the counter that faces out toward the street. Aside from the occasional eye contact you might make with a passerbyer, it makes for great spectating. The dude working the counter was incredibly friendly. I also walked away with a really excellent rice I pudding that had a lemon whipped topping on it. It was so good I should've bought two. This vegan joint isn't just for vegans. This is an everybody wins establishment.

Love Hummingbird! So refreshing to find a healthy, grounded place such as this. The food is wholesome and filling, delicious and fun - unique too! My favorite is the carrot chickpea curry. The desserts are amazing and I don't feel guilty eating them :-)

A great find! Vegan and vegetarian dishes that are unique, healthy, and fresh. I was very impressed with the flavor and texture of the ingredients. The counter service was very friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, with lots of window seating. We will definitely return.
