visited on a Fri afternoon for lunch passing thru the I44 looking for healthy eats. I had a poke bowl which was perfect in every way a poke bowl should be. The small size is plenty for anyone for lunch. You get plenty of items to choose from to add. The sauces were delicious! I'm from CA and have been eating poke bowls for maybe 12 years. My guy had a hot plate with pulled pork. We also eat a lot of hawaiin food in CA. This place was pretty good to compare too especially for the Ozarks!! good portions. I'd like an option for poke nachos, those are my fav! Very nice lady working there too. and the place is clean and decorated cute themed, great place to take a date if you dont mind ordering first then picking a seat. Its a tad bit pricey but most places are going to be $30+ for two. We would recommend and come back if we are ever in Joplin again. healthy food!

It was our first time and we had a lot of questions about the food to avoid food allergies. While the cashier didnt know the answers she patiently consulted with the chef to answer all our questions and had a great attitude. We were able to find dairy and soy free options that were delicious with huge portions. It was really cute in there and we plan to try it again. I think the only down sides are it is all disposable dishes and plastic ware and the back bathroom area smelled so weird when heading into the sun room. Otherwise, such a fun and unique place for our small city.

This little place has been in business 3 years this coming spring. They've done well to make it through some challenging economical times. This was a recommendation by my gen z son. The food is outstanding and the story is even better. This family owned business is run by former Hawaiian residents father and son and extended family. They were displaced during Hawaii fires and relocated back to the states to support aging parents. I am so excited that they have brought diversity and culture to Joplin Missouri. The staff is attentive, kind and most of all grateful for every patron that walks through the door. The food portions are more than substantial and the quality is fresh and delicious. I love how they prepare the food in to go boxes making take home easy for any of the generous portions of food that you don't have room for. They offer a selection of domestic beers and wine slushies as well as regular soft drinks and other options. Soft drinks free refills. Be sure and stop by for lunch sometime and support this local business. You won't be sorry and you will bring your friends. Stay blessed
