I'd been looking forward to this place, and it definitely delivered. I had the Milanese sandwich, which had fried pork chop and a kimchi/mayo slaw between focaccia bread. Let's start with the bread. It's what the place is most known for, and I thought it was good, but not amazing. The inside was crazy soft - some of the fluffiest focaccia I've had. It pulled apart so easily. The outside was salted pretty well, but it just wasn't crispy at all. Most of the top and bottom was just too soft in my opinion - I think I would've enjoyed this much more if there had been a crunch to this sandwich / the bread had been baked for longer. It wasn't enough to detract from the sandwich, but the potential was missed to elevate it. With that said, there's only two other parts to the sandwich, and they were both fantastic. The pork was astonishingly good. It was fried super well - the breading managed to stay crispy with a ton of flakes, and it stayed on the meat. It had a deep golden brown to it. More important, though, the juiciness was unreal. If I didn't know this was pork chop I 100% would've guessed pork belly. It's astonishingly flavorful - every bite is so rich and so good. It blows away most of the pork katsu or fried pork cutlets I've had. The amount is also plentiful throughout this sandwich. The slaw helps a lot with both moisture and freshness. The cabbage provides a refreshing earthiness to each bite, while the mayo makes sure that there's a slight spiciness and wetness involved. It works very well as a sauce on this. It's an expensive sandwich - coming in over $20 - but it's also massive. This could easily be split between two people, or a very hungry person, like I was. Overall, these sandwiches are simple, but the quality is pretty excellent. 9/10

This is one of my favorite places and Seattle. Easily. If you like sandwiches, then you should definitely come here. They compete with Fortuna and - in my opinion - exceed Fortuna (largely because of portion; you just get more bang for your buck here). We’ve had almost every sandwich available from Hushy’s. The Turkey is a clear winner (its combo of salty, somewhat smokey and tanginess lets it stand out). Our next favorite is a tie between the mortadella and the (fried) fish sandwich. You really can’t go wrong with any of their sandwiches. Two things I’d point out: 1) The Japanese beef curry sandwich is too salty 2) The sandwiches are expensive (but one sandwich can easily feed two) Oh and the atmosphere is dope. Just take a look for yourself. This place deserves 5 stars.

Finally went to this place after seeing it on social media and it was worth the hype! The mortadella sandwich was amazing, one of the best sandwiches in Seattle. You can tell the focaccia is made from scratch, it’s soft and fluffy with a slight crispiness on top, topped with sea salt. Good portion of meat/fillings. Very reasonable price as the sandwich is the perfect size to split between two people!
