Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We had a wonderful dining experience at India Foodie Lounge. The Veg Platter was a great start—crispy vegetable and paneer pakoras, perfectly fried and full of flavor. The assortment of breads—garlic naan, bullet naan, butter naan, and rumali roti—was fresh and complemented the meal beautifully. The main dishes, Khoya Kaju and Paneer Makhni, were rich, creamy, and well-balanced, offering an authentic taste. Peas Pulav was aromatic and paired nicely with the curries, and the Mango Lassi was refreshing and perfectly blended. A special and well-deserved mention goes to Kumar, who truly stood out. At times, he seemed like the owner himself—constantly on his toes, efficiently taking and serving orders across tables. He skillfully managed dine-in service while simultaneously handling quick phone orders, takeout, and Uber deliveries. His multitasking, dedication, and professionalism were impressive and played a big role in making our experience so smooth. Employees like Kumar are a true asset to any restaurant, and his hard work and commitment genuinely deserve recognition. Overall, excellent food, outstanding service, and a place we’ll gladly return to.

Wow. 5 star! Amazing food. We ordered the chicken tikka masala, vindaloo, butter chicken and garlic naan. Can’t say a single bad thing about it! The garlic naan was hot crispy yet soft.. absolute perfection!!

We took a chance with this restaurant and it was a great experience! I've marked this as a "want to go" place on my list, and it didn't disappoint. My aunt was craving "good Indian cuisine" because of late, none has met her expectations. She lives in an area with plenty to choose from, but none were worth a second chance. She used to visit the Willowbrook area (a 45 minutedrive), but unfortunately the former favorite restaurant had been a huge disappointment. India Foodie Lounge turned out to be a very good choice. It was a late dinner for her, so we kept it "light" and ordered the mixed tandoori with chicken and shrimp. I can definitely say, the different flavors of the mixed chicken/shrimp was spot on. Personally, I would order the mixed tandoori again. I loved the presentation and it was served sizzling to perfection. My aunt wanted to taste a lamb dish, and ordered the lamb saag. I myself don't eat lamb, but we compromised with a saag dish. I have to say, it was better than I expected. I didn't eat the meat, but thoroughly enjoyed the saag! Of course, we couldn't pass on the naan, butter only for me and garlic for her. My aunt also loves papadoms and ordered some for appetizers, crispy and flavorful. We ended the meal with their creamy rasmalai and a masala chai for my aunt. Overall experience was wonderful. We can't wait to bring the rest of our family to visit India Foodie Lounge.
