It was a cold day, so we stopped in for something warm, and the pho and the Wonton Special really hit the spot. Both soups had good flavor, and the broth was hot and comforting. We also tried the Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee, and both drinks were very good. The restaurant itself is small and cute. It has a simple, calm vibe with plenty of space and a clean dining area. It was not busy when we were there, so it was quiet and relaxing. The service was okay. The staff was polite and friendly, not very talkative, and they did not check on us or offer refills, but we did not really need anything since we had the soups. Everything came out quickly, and they were pleasant. We ordered two appetizers, the Viet egg rolls and the salt and pepper tofu. The appetizers were not it for us. The egg rolls were just okay. The salt and pepper tofu was the most disappointing because it is usually one of my favorite dishes. It was very overcooked. The texture was dry and crunchy, and a few pieces were chewy. Salt and pepper tofu is usually lightly fried with a soft inside, but this batch missed the mark. All in all, the pho and the Wonton Special were great on a cold day, and the drinks were delicious. The appetizers were not something we would order again, but the soups alone are worth coming back for.

I ordered shrimp pho. I got home, didn’t check my food right away because I had some things to do. By the time I checked my bag, I realized they gave me the wrong thing and they were already closed. Given that I am pregnant, I had no choice but to eat what I had. I was given some sort of beef ramen which was not good. Will not be returning.

I had an amazing experience at this Vietnamese restaurant. The soup I had was outstanding, made with very fresh organic brussels sprouts and fresh basil. It tasted incredibly clean and flavorful. I also had the Vietnamese spring rolls, which were pure and fresh (not fried), paired with an excellent peanut sauce. The customer service was excellent as well. The host was extremely polite, very courteous, and helped me a lot throughout my visit. I would highly recommend this location, and I’m actually going back again today.
