Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

There were 4 of us for dinner. The server was fantastic, fun knowledgeable with just the right amount of attention without hovering. The food was of really great quality and large portions. Our friends had a burrito there were as large as a serving platter. They said there were favorable, rice, beans, chicken, and a red sauce. I had a taco salad that included beans, ground beef, olives and fresh lettuce. My wife had Pollo Fundido. A dish she loves and rarely finds on menus in Mexican restaurants. She said this version was delightful. The decor was pretty typical for Mexican restaurants

The service was great and the atmosphere was very nice and modern. That's about all you can expect. Food is exactly what I knew it would be considering it's ixtapa. A very white washed subpar rendition of Mexican food. There was mild and "spicy" salsa served with chips when we arrived. It was not spicy in the slightest to us aka it's white people spicy. Menu is as expected but prices are high for the quality and taste of the food. But comparable to better mexican places. The onions and peppers in our dishes tasted fresh and cooked well but meats were dry and not tender. I ordered steak fajita and subbed my pico and sourcream for more beans. Was not bell peppers in my meal but unsure which pepper it was exactly. Not spicy so unsure. Taste overall was subpar. I could make better at home. Husband had fajita burrito and he said it was very meh and white mexican food. Kid got quesadilla and fries. Taste exactly how you expect. Overall won't come back. Was not worth the almost 60 dollars we paid to eat dinner. Would have rather went to taco bell if I wanted fake mexican food.
