So don't let the exterior deter you or you will miss out on some wonderful Ethiopian dishes clearly made with love. We had a combo dish with beef, chicken, and lamb, plus two vegetable sides, for $26. Fed two hungry people and we took home a meal. The baklava was a very generous portion for under $3. (If these prices seem on the low side to you, do what we did and tip generously). Be prepared to wait while those flavors are cooking. It took about 40 minutes to get our food. But oh so worth it.

I recently visited J and K Restaurant and it is truly one of the best places in town. The location is great and very convenient. The food is absolutely delicious, and they prepare it exactly how you like it. If you want it spicy, they will make it spicy. If you prefer medium or mild, they will adjust it perfectly for you. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and make you feel like family. They offer a great variety of dishes, including fresh vegetables and all types of meat options, so there is something for everyone. I highly recommend J and K Restaurant to everybody. Amazing Ethiopian food. Was looking for something different to have for a late lunch or early dinner and came across this place. The atmosphere was African with themed decorations and videos playing on the TV. Our order was taken quickly and we chose the meat combo and the vegetable combo to share amongst 4 people. If you eat in you also get a bowl of their macaroni soup which was spicy but tasty. The combos were more than enough for 4 adults. Always love being able to eat with the Injera bread. The cost even with tip was less than $20 per person for what we had to eat. Easily enough for 5-6 people. Highly recommend this restaurant even if you have never had Ethiopian this will be a great experience.
