My Philly Cheesesteak was served on a hotdog bun. Like a tiny bun you get at a gas station. It was disappointing. Also, I bought a loaf of "sourdough" bread because I saw it on their online menu. It is not real sourdough. I would liken it to an Italian loaf from HyVee. Again, disappointing. My sons "chicken ceasar salad" was not at ALL what was described. Unfortunately, won't be making the trip back here again, after it being a long time favorite.

This place is outstanding. They don't skimp out on the food portions. The food is delicious. I highly recommend this place. I gave the atmosphere a two star because the restaurant is in a very small building. Because they are extremely busy all of the time, I feel like they need to either upgrade their building to a bigger size or they need to move to a bigger place. I feel there needs more seating and space so people aren't on top of each other. Other than that, this place is great and so is the staff.

First time trying J's Home style cooking. Great down home atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good. My sister had breakfast and the portions were good sized. I had the large pork tenderloin. It was thin and tender, and battered well. Served on a hoagie roll. I have it saved to visit again.
