Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I’ve been searching for a Jamaican spot near me and I have found it! I ordered the Jerk Chicken & Oxtail combo! First, I appreciate them having a combo that allowed me to try the jerk chicken and oxtails! The jerk chicken was tender and flavorful as well as the oxtails. I loved the flavor in the Rice & Peas and cabbage! I also got the Mac&Cheese and plantains. The entire meal was wonderful and they found a repeat customer for sure!

I have wanted to go to this restaurant for a while. The atmosphere is genuine and very welcoming. I had the brown stew chicken(not spicy) with cabbage and my friend had jerk chicken with a side portion of their scotch bonnet hot sauce(spicy) and it was intense. They have plates for all spicy levels, but if you're looking for quality spice that doesn't disappoint, look no further. They also had a small assortment of drinks, I tried the Ting, sooo good 👍, and my friend had some pineapple/ginger juice, he enjoyed it. We had a great time. My only criticism would be the space I side is a bit small, and the chairs were not the most comfortable, but I could have eaten outside, so this whole space didn't fully bother me. Still would highly recommend.

As a jamaican living in texas, it always saddens me that my native food is scarce here in texas. However, I found joy in my heart knowing that this establishment is here in Burleson. Had the oxtail plate with jerk chicken with rice and peas, cabbage, plantain and coco bread. The food is spicy so fair warning but its truly authentic jamaican (YARD!) food, gave me childhood memories the moment I took a bite of the rice. Chicken was cooked to perfection and the oxtail as well. To all my texas fam, whether you Caribbean or not, you will truly enjoy this food. It's the closest thing to jamaican food this side of DFW
