We tried Japon for the first time today and are completely blown away. The food was amazing. We ordered the takoyaki and karaage for starters. They were both perfectly cooked. My fiancé raved about the karaage literally the whole way home as the best hes ever tried. It has the best breading for the perfect crunch. The takoyaki was also amazing and no too big so the middle was actually cooked all the way through. Finally, we both tried the ramen. Let me tell you, we were not prepared for that portion size (massive). That ramen was the closest thing to authentic ramen that we have been able to find in this town. Safe to say, we will definitely be back and cant wait to try other items on the menu!!!

I visited between lunch & dinner. So I had the place mostly to myself. The place was very clean. The decor was sparse but appropriate for Japanese style. Service was warm and friendly and the heavy Japanese accent made it more authentic. Being my first visit I asked for a recommendation on ramen - the Spicy Tan Tan was 🔥😋🔥😋🔥😋🔥. Spicy but not hot. Less hot than siracha hot sauce which is medium in my book. Located in the southern part of Lincoln, NE so away from the college crowds and where the big money is in a very quiet nondescript but elegant outdoor mall I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Lincoln

FINALLY, a good (and reasonably priced) ramen place in Lincoln!! 😩🙏🏼 I usually depend on my intermittent trips to Omaha for flavorful, authentic ramen, but I was pleasantly surprised to come across this quaint hole in the wall on my way home from work. Unfortunately, I was too excited to eat and forgot to take a before picture, so my image doesn’t do the initial presentation much justice, but as you can tell, I do very much look forward to ordering their Spicy Tan Tan again. The Tokyo roll I ordered was also nice, though, after seeing their fresh fish selection, I’m inclined to try their nigiri and sashimi options next time. Edward and Andrew were very pleasant and I hope more people learn about this absolute gem!
