Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Jarfly. Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time—juicy, perfectly cooked, and insanely flavorful. The ghost pepper jelly takes it to another level: sweet, spicy, and addictive in the best way. Every bite hit. The drinks were just as impressive—well balanced, fresh, and clearly made by people who care about what they’re pouring. Pair that with the amazing vibe of the space (cool, lively, but still relaxed) and this place easily stands out as one of the best restaurant atmospheres in Columbus, Georgia. Service was top-tier. Huge shoutout to Yanna, our server—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She made a great experience even better. Food, drinks, service, and atmosphere are all absolutely on point. I’ll 100% be back.

Stopped in for lunch after running a few errands today. I went for the mushroom Bahn Mi sandwich with sweet potato fries as a side. The wife went for the blackened Mahi sandwich with fries. Our appetizer was Elote dip & chips. The dip had a lot of flavor but was a cold dip, so the chips may not be the best pairing. Still, tasty though. The wife ate most of the Mahi sandwich but it became a bit of a texture issue for her. It's served on a regular burger bun with coleslaw topping. Tasted good, but kind of got a little soggy after a few minutes. Might be better on a different type of bread maybe? For me, the Bahn Mi was ok. Not much protein to speak of, just a veggie sandwich. Something to keep in mind when ordering would be your protein needs for the day. Anyway, not bad food by any means. Atlanta prices though. The mahi sandwich with fries is $20 for what amounts to a lunch size portion. A bit steep for the area. Bahn Mi was $17-ish. The appetizer was $11 and we had water to drink. Before tip the total was mid fifties for two lunch sandwiches and an appetizer. Again, a little on the pricey side. Parking is in the rear and side of the building. Entry is on the front, street side, of the building. I think the building complex is meant to be walkable, but not having parking side entrances feels a little weird, not fully thought out. Just the humble opinion of a foodie. 🤷‍♂️ Service was great. Atmosphere was ok. Felt a little beachy with the colors and the concrete floor and large garage doors. The place is worth a try at least once. Just keep in mind that the prices are little high for the the portions you're getting. If you're okay with splurging a little, then yes I would recommend giving it a try. If your budget is a little tight, might want to do some research on other spots first. For what we ordered, the area we were in, the prices felt like they were probably double what they should be. Again, personal opinion. 👍 Anyway, was worth a try.

Jamie is the KINDEST and most professional server. We had a big group for a girls night out. I’m also on an intense allergen free diet (no gluten, no egg, no dairy, no soy). Jamie was so kind, understanding, and patient with all of us. She helped me pick out something on the menu that was within my diet, double checked with the kitchen multiple times, and spoke with the chef and gave him a list of my allergens so they made sure it was something I could eat with no problems. She even spoke with me about cross contamination concerns. SO CONSIDERATE. This NEVER happens when I go out to eat. EVER. Jamie and Jarfly are truly the best, and it was my first stress free and enjoyable dining experience dealing with an allergen free diet that I’ve ever had. A HUGE THANK YOU to Jamie and Jarfly!!!
