Genuinely one of the very best restaurants in Pittsburgh(-ish). I've been here probably 6 times now, twice for burgers, the rest for their regular menu. I cannot get over how genuinely excellent everything on the menu is. Likely the best potatoes, and fish I've had of any restaurant in the city. Jillian is a very attentive owner making time to spend a bit with each guest while dining, and has a phenomenal memory for repeat guests, she & the rest of the staff are so wonderful. Absolutely worth going out of your way to dine here.

My husband and I went to Jillian's the Thursday before Valentine's Day. By far, this was such a nice intimate setting along with a very attentive wait staff. Each of the menu items were given to us with a detailed description, my for allergies were promptly paid attention to and the service was top notch. Everything from the drinks, to the main course, to dessert were thoughtfully crafted and you could see it and taste it. We can't wait to come back! Thank you Jillian's!

There is a running joke between my friends and family that every single time I go out to eat, my food is prepared incorrectly and my service is terrible. I'm in the service industry. I would eat a raw steak before I complained. It's been laughable up to this point. Thank God I went to Jillian's. The losing streak is finally over. The warm welcome we received when we walked through the door set the tone. We waited a bit for our table - which after finishing our meal, we didn't want to leave either. After we sat, we ordered the following; Duck Fat Potatoes Truffle Fries Dozen Oysters 1/2 Chicken Dry-Aged Tomahawk Ribeye Burger Pistachio Cheesecake Creme Brulee Grilled Stickies Spicy Pickle Martinis 10 out of 10. Start to finish. No notes. That's the review. Jillian runs the FOH like a champion with her eye on the finish line. We didn't meet Phil, but he deserves all of the shift beers in the world for curating and cooking this incredible meal. When I die, I would like to be buried in duck fat potatoes and spicy pickle-tinis. I left Jillian's reminded that life is special and so are the people who dedicate their lives to feeding and nurturing others in this industry. Will be back - duh.
