Joi Café in Westlake Village is such a great find. Low-key, clean, and laid-back with a really good vibe the moment you walk in. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the place just feels easy and comfortable to hang out in. I mostly come for the matcha because it’s hands-down my favorite — smooth, rich, and perfectly made every time. If you’re a matcha lover, this is the spot. The food is also great, especially their vegan menu. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. It’s the kind of café you keep coming back to because it just feels right — great drinks, great food, great people. Definitely a five-star experience. I’ll be back.

I love this place. Everything is delicious, the service is so friendly. The biggest complaint is that it is always pretty crowded because it's so popular. On Sundays there is a farmers market in the parking lot right outside so coming early on a Saturday is a good idea! I had a cortado coffee and it was brought to me on an adorable tray alongside the hearty and very filling breakfast burrito. This vegan cafe has plenty of GF options which I appreciate!!!

I’ve been here a few times and love the plethora of organic and plant-based options. The interior is clean, bright, and modern and the place always seems lively even in the middle of the week. That being said my last experience here was not satisfactory. I stopped in to pickup two smoothies at around 2pm and the cashier who originally took my order was pleasant and seemed grateful that I had tipped, telling me to let her know if I needed anything at all. I waited for ten minutes before asking another employee now at the register (who saw me and continued talking to a coworker first before finally addressing me) if there was an update on my order because ten minutes seems a little long for two identical smoothies. She said she would check the kitchen and came back to tell me they were still working on it. I waited another 6 minutes before the smoothies finally came out. Therefore, almost $40 ($16 per smoothie + tip) and 20 minutes later, I finally walked out of there wishing I had just gone to Jamba Juice instead. Safe to say I won’t be coming here again as it is grossly overpriced, the service is slow, and not all of the staff seem to provide good customer service. Not to mention, the “matchacita” smoothie tasted nothing like matcha. Sorry, I really wanted to like this place.
