Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

i called the first time asking about my order and the lady didn’t bother hanging up, she left the phone on and walked away. she continuously kept saying no english but not for nothing, you cant have a business with not a single english speaker or understander… that’s the first problem. the second thing, they require you to buy a side of avocado which is only 2-3 pieces in a large little cup. you need to be required to spend the $3-4 on a little container of avocado even if you dont want it to place the order. the third, i had this man answer who spoke english and i understood it but it was broken english, just an observation for somebody to find out who that is, who was not help at all and hung up on me because of my complaints. i had explained to him ive been ordering for awhile now and that didnt matter. they dont care about their customers clearly. and fourth, it isnt even a real store. toastys isnt a place you can go to. it is a store on doordash and uber eats that is made here. i will not be ordering from here again. do not give them your money

The service was personal, quick and efficient. Constant refills, and fresh squeezed orange juice. The parking lot has plenty of space. Great place to bring your family. I had the tex mex Benedict which was unique and served in a generous manner with lots of potatoes and huge eggs. The owner and servers were very nice, came to greet us and encouraged us to try the dessert. We will be back and definitely try the mimosas and good service. Keep up the great work guys. Great music too!

I'm not supposed to feel like I'm not home. This my hood. Why am I dealing with people that can't speak the language? Who don't have a cultural understanding of how the natives eat and speak. I just wanted a simple pancakes and sausages.... They can't understand. The cashier couldn't speak English or understand the request for well done. And then the girl and the owner came from the back trying to clarify it. Back and forth constantly asking questions. Absolutely no. So you know the food is prepared like hell . Y'all got to pack up and go back. East Orange has faded to the strange man...
