Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

The servings are generous: 6 ounces of pastrami for example. Their sourdough and rye breads are tender and flavorful. Cowboy beans are great. Am not a pasta salad fan, but theirs (shells) is moist and flavorful. Potato salad has great flavor, but occasionally the potatoes are too firm for my preference. The clam chowder is not a “traditional “ recipe but has relatively good-quality ingredients and the clams aren’t overly chewy. After 2:00 it’s not usually busy. They slice the meats and grill per order, so it’s usually 5-7 minutes—worth it for good food.

Friendly and efficient service. I had one of the best Rueben sandwiches I've had in a long time plenty of pickles and mustard, marbled rye bread and the meat was delicious. I had the potato salad as my side, I wasn't wowed by it. I'm not a big fan of potato salad. It had too many onions for my taste and needed more mustard. Don't judge it by my opinion. And I had a huge cup of Iced tea. I'll definitely be back.

We were driving thru, and even though there’s no inside seating, this little shop was a hit with us. Flavorful food made with care, spotless place, and friendly owners. We had the pastrami, Italian, (served warm) and Mac salad and slow cooked cowboy beans sides. We kept eating even after we were full because it all tasted so good!
