On 12/13/25 my husband and I went to J Pot for the first time and Leilani who helped us with our order made the experience so enjoyable. She was so kind, helpful, and really took her time walking us through the menu and answering all our questions. She made us feel so comfortable and welcome. Amazing service, the food was tasty, and overall great first impression on the restaurant! We’ll definitely be back!

A phenomenal experience here. I wasn't sure what I was coming into when I walked in. I came the other day for lunch, but it looked like there were a lot of steps detailed rather than just an all-you-can-eat. I'm glad I came back because there are definitely a lot more steps. You cook your own food in front of yourself. I came for lunch, and the options are a bit different for lunch or dinner, or you can upgrade to have the entire thing. I thought it would be a little bit pricier, but for everything you get and all the options, it really is a good value. I'm sad I came alone because this is definitely a great experience to have with someone else. This would make a perfect date night or just great family conversation while you're cooking and enjoying fresh food in front of yourself. All the vegetables were fresh, and there were lots of options for sauces to add to your soup or any of your meals. The service was great, and they explained everything throughout the menu and our options. I definitely recommend coming to this place, and I would come here again and again when I come to the San Antonio area.

Dined at around opening, received our food at 11:25 to be exact, didn’t hear from our server until 12:02. We had to ask for her, she should have been rounding as this is an AYCE restaurant. Did not even apologize for the wait, when we have to order, our grill is already WHITE and ashy, we were not even asked if she should change our grill. The meat is not going to be edible of course. All other times I’ve dined here I had no problem. It’s not even busy. -10000/10 service.
