Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Never fails to impress and I’m not even vegetarian. My wife and I eat here every time we visit the Monterey Peninsula (3-4 times per year). Even when the servers are super busy, they’re always on their best game. I always leave feeling fulfilled and well-nourished, but never bloated — a testament to the high quality and nutritiousness of their food. Also, my wife has a long list of food allergies which they effortlessly accommodate. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Good food though expensive. Located right in the center of Monterey near Pebble beach, this vegan restaurant is a great place for vegan people. Except for a mexican restaurant and Julia's, not many vegan options in Monterey. We ordered pizza, which is medium size 12" good for 2 people . Comes with 8 pieces and California pizza was awesome but cost was 30$ for medium pizza. We also ordered Yellow curry which was good as well. Sweet in taste it comes with some rice by the side but I felt that quantity of rice could be more. Good for 1 person.

There is plenty of parking available. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good, especially the salad and tamales. The salsa was a too spicy and some of the pizza had too much sauce (bbq and the California veggie), but we would definitely go again and try other items. The booths are a bit small, but they have some tables with chairs as well. The desserts are a must!!
