Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Overall, it was a great experience! Staff was friendly, if busy, and the establishment was clean. We got there at about 6 pm and left at about 7:30 pm. We got the angle hair pasta, lemon butter noodles with clams, and something else I forgot the name of. The pasta was excellent and I loved having the option for sauce without meat. It was well seasoned too. The clam dish was good too. Had lots of garlic, lemon, and butter as advertised. My friend did enjoy the 3rd dish, but I dont remember what it was. 🤷 I will say they gave me what I can only assume was Fallon tap water for my hot tea. Fallon tap water is awful. I got a sprite instead. For the price and quality of the food I recommend trying it out.

Pitifully bland Mexican food made without any regard for attaining any savoriness, spiciness, or even adequate salt levels. Everything was flat and utterly flavorless. Julio's is the very fist place I've encountered in decades of dining, to totally screw up carne asada. With sauce, no less. It wasn't properly seared. It was nearly unseasoned. And it had a weird, bland tomatoey sauce over it. Hey, Julio's, CARNE ASADA IS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE SAUCE. IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE SEASONED WELL, AND SEARED AT HIGH HEAT. I doubt they care. The place is a dump, and the help seems uninterested in the task at hand. I don't mind a greasy hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant if the food is good. Julio's can't even get Spanish rice and refried beans right. Worst Mexican food I've ever had in over fifty years. Avoid.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but it's a little diamond in the rough. Great atmosphere! Good food and drinks for an amazing price. Staff was really nice, service was okay. Free chips and salsa. Spent $18 or $19 for lots of food and 1 alcoholic beverage.
