Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Absolutely outstanding experience at Kama Bistro. The food was exceptional — the Chilean sea bass was perfectly cooked, the mixed lamb was full of flavor, and the desserts were the perfect finish to an already incredible meal. Our server, Anna, truly elevated the night. She knew the menu inside out, guided us through the options, and every one of her recommendations was spot on. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended.

Cannot believe that there could be bad reviews of this place. I had the most perfect experience here. I’ve meant to come here for years, just hadn’t made it in. Came for Valentines which coincides with my birthday. First of all, the cocktails absolutely blew me away. Amazing. Just amazing. Had both mezcal drinks, the tequila cocktail, and the Negroni. All perfect. Ana explained the menu in flawless detail. Excellent recommendations, and she honestly was just lovely. Seriously a dear. She’s so knowledgeable and it’s obvious that she cares about this restaurant. Wow. I just haven’t met a server like her in so long. I had the basic go to dishes, and they were the best I’ve had in so long. I’m often coast to coast grabbing Indian anywhere I can, and here the best was right in my backyard.

We dined there yesterday, we ordered everything vegetarian. The food quality was very underwhelming. We ordered paneer makhani, pindi chana, vindalu cauliflower, none of the dish had good flavors, every food item tasted sour. We ordered crispy chili potatoes for appetizer, which were laden in ketchup and were also sour. Rotis were rubbery, none of us could eat any. We had to ask to replace with naan, which were better. We thought it was a good Indian restaurant based on the reviews, probably not for vegetarians though. Desserts were okay, nothing impressive. Very small portions for the price of the items. For birthday celebration, our server brought a nicely decorated plate but the contents were just whipped cream and chocolate syrup, which was also underwhelming. Drinks were the only saving grace and our server was pleasant. Regarding the building, restrooms were freezing, it seemed like no heat in there. Overall, not impressed and not enjoyed it to go back again.
