I’ve followed Kanfuela coffee around the Valley over the past years and when I heard the news that there would be a physical location I was so pleased. This coffee is even better because the beans and the roasting and the preparation are all done ‘in house’. The coffee experience is fantastic and I only wish they were open longer as I love a late afternoon coffee. The sandwiches are fantastic - but the coffee takes 1st place!!! Congratulations!

I drove over from Litchfield Park because I knew that I’d be able to buy what has become my absolute favorite coffee of all time: Kanfuela’s Congo IDJWI ISLAND medium roast (see photo). It’s smooth and complex with non of that bitterness that I find in absolutely every cup of Starbucks that I’ve ever had. Deborah, the owner and coffee roaster par excellence has employed people like herself, i.e., warm, friendly and welcoming. She got the shop up and running in what felt like no time at all, but it already feels homey. I have no doubt that anyone who comes in and tastes this magical brew will become a regular. I know that I will!
