Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I am a frequent customer of Aadat since the opening of it. Food is garbage. Management is also garbage. Very disrespectful staff. The biryani we ordered which is shown in the pictures, I wouldn’t even feed it to my dogs. Ever since the beginning of Aadat, after transfer from Kanishka. Their quality has dropped drastically and proven to be one of the worst in food standards. King county should take a look into this as it is a community health risk. This is my third time experiencing this issue of biryani stinking bad, too much oil, and looks like leftovers.

I ordered the bullet naan, three cheese naan, dal makhani, chicken special, and onion salad from Aadat Indian Restaurant to go. Overall, the food was average. The curries were very heavy and thick, with a lot of masala and cream, which made them feel a bit overwhelming. Nothing really stood out flavor-wise. On the positive side, the restaurant is very clean and well maintained. The experience wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t memorable. Decent option if you’re nearby, but there’s room for improvement in balancing the flavors.

This place delivered more than just great food—it delivered a great experience. The staff was welcoming and kind, and I had a lovely conversation that gave me insight into the health benefits of fennel seeds and their culture. The food was flavorful, satisfying, and absolutely worth it. I’ll be back without a doubt.
