Kate’s Kitchen Authentic African Cuisine South bend

So I must say this will be my last time ordering from Kate's I go yesterday to get egusi and foo foo, usually it takes about 15 minutes this time it came out in 5 minutes, I get home for 27.00 my container should have been full, it wasn't but the beef in it was dry old and tough, ive ordered 4 times from Kate follow her where ever she goes but I'm Done only once outta the 4 times has it been 27.00 worthy, if you don’t dine in your not going to get quality from Kate's Kitchen. Been supporting Miss Kate since she was selling dinners out her home, also cool runnings when they would come in their food truck every Tuesday downtown south bend and sell out with in a couple hours, the truck did much better than the restaurant ( closed). Sad thing is Miss Kate 1/3/26 3pm or so they would take 27.00 for one meal and it was horrible, the meat should have been thrown away! But this is it for me just gotta wait til I go to Chicago to get egusi . As you see I didn’t even unwrap the other fufu ball

My fiancé moved to South Bend from Richmond Virginia , and whenever I come to visit, this is the only place we choose to eat. The staff are very nice, welcoming, and the food is always amazing. Highly recommended!

I first tried them at fusion fest a year ago! Loved their food came back again without knowing it was the same people food is still amazing!! Loved their flavors everything I ate definitely hit the spot 🫶🏼 The hospitality was amazing! Talked us through traditional way of eating African food!
