Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

This place deserves a Michelin star it was so yummy. I had no complaints about any of the dishes. Every dish that came out was so delicious! You can tell that the food was made with a lot of care and love. The service was great - Randy especially was super helpful in figuring out what dishes to order. 10/10 would go back again! The red-cooked wagyu was my favorite dish here! The meat quality was excellent

I went to KinD for lunch to check out the menu at this new pop-up. I wanted to try several dishes and get an idea of the food. They currently have a spin-the-wheel special for a free side when you walk in and I won spiced peanuts. They were seasoned well and not overly hot. The shrimp and pork dumplings were delicious though a bit hot with chili crisp. Be prepared for good Sichuan heat! The avocado toast was filling and tasted like a deconstructed banh mi. The daikon was fresh and tasty. I enjoyed the lavender green tea more than I expected. For dessert, I ordered cream puffs that were light and sweet. I plan to come back and try a noodle dish next since that’s their speciality. I have no complaints about this tasty lunch!

The food and atmosphere was excellent! The staff were extremely friendly. I would definitely come back again. The deep fried tofu is a must try!
