Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I personally probably won’t come back again but they did have some good parts. The server was very nice. The hibachi was also very good. They also kept the crab legs decently stocked! So at least that made up my part for not having “prime rib” The problem we had we that we came in at 6:30 and the supposed “prime rib” more like pot roast was basically gone and when we asked about it they said no more for tonight, and it was only 6:30! what a shame. We called in advance too to ask about prime rib before we made the drive from an hour away! Only to find out after it’s not really prime rib and it was practically empty. The owner did give $1 off to my friend that we brought with us that came for the prime rib for the inconvenience but I don’t think that really makes up for it. Most of the food had been sitting on the buffet for a while as well or empty. Some were good and brought out fresh. Good thing they had a hibachi that we were able to get fresh. When we were done and leaving the owner gave us a sour look. I don’t plan on coming back anytime soon. Not sure how long they can stay open like this!

We were excited to finally get a Chinese buffet back in Marion. The food was excellent. All of the food selections were very fresh. The restaurant was very clean and well lit. They had a magnificent selection of sushi. I will have to say that the wasabi was not hot, which can be a plus. You just have to know to use a little more. The hot and sour soup, which is usually my favorite, was done very nicely. They had an excellent selection of salads and desserts including a nice selection of ice cream. The one downside about our visit was the service. The service was very poor. Now given that they had only been open for a few days, this is understandable. We will expect better service next time though. We had to practically beg for our bill and we were given almost no drink refills without hunting someone down. We are definitely looking forward to more fine food and service in the future. We are looking forward to exploring the Mongolian grill the next time we go. Update: We went back and the service was excellent this time. The Mongolian grill was amazing. But don't go too late in the day because they close at 9:00.

Today we tried King Buffet for the first time. I was impressed with the food. The waitresses were very friendly and hospitable. The cashier was also very kind and greeted us on our way out. There a a vide variety of food and seasoned well. I will definitely be back to eat here again.
