Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Fantastic gem with excellent food, great service and a cute atmosphere. Each booth had a fresh rose in a bud vase. Breakfast was the Original Eggs Benedict and The Gaul omelet, both delicious as was the coffee. Bathrooms with a couple rosebuds and nice soap that doesn’t dry out your skin. Well worth a stop for a great meal. If we’re ever through here again, we’ll be back.

Definitely, the best diner experience I've had. The service was very attentive, but not intrusive. They noticed when our drinks were getting low, and came over to refill without asked. Honestly, the servers seemed like they were trained by Michelin-star staff. The food was wonderful. I had the chicken fried steak, which was delicious. To share with the table, I got some onion rings and their sweet potato tots. The onion rings were perhaps the best I've ever had. We showed up 30 minutes before closing on a Sunday. No wait, several tables were still available. They didn't rush us or give us any impression that we needed to finish our meals quickly.
