I’ve been to so many different pizza joints across Indianapolis but the lone one I had yet to go to was King Dough. I’ve heard a lot of great things about them so we finally decided to give them a try. Came at around 6 PM on a Thursday and they weren’t too busy so we got seated instantly. Our waitress was nice and attentive to our table. We started with an order of 16 buffalo wings as an app. Those were great! Crispy, flavorful, and the ranch was good. I then got myself an 8” create your own with sausage, pepperoni, and bacon. Overall, I was blown away! The pizza was cooked perfectly and had a nice crust. The toppings were tasty. All around a great pizza. Overall, first experience at King Dough, a success! If you’re in Indy craving pizza, King Dough is a good spot! I’ll be back.

I enjoyed the Stinky Pete pizza and Weizengoot Hefeweizen beer by Bier distillery. While the pizza wasn't among the best I've had, it was good and unique. My understanding is that Indianapolis is lacking pizza excellence. Still, this was a solid entry. The Greco salad was delicious. The hallway to the bathroom and bathroom itself could stand to be cleaned better. I don't know if management thinks that adds to the bohemian vibe. It doesn't. My waitress was very pleasant and attentive.

Came in from out of town looking for some wood fired pizza. Atmosphere was good over all. Only complaints were tables were a tad cramped, sun was blinding through the windows (I’d recommend tint). Service was superb. Our server was Jake. He did very well. Host was cheerful, an even stopped by to ask how things were. Food was very good. Nice char on outside of crust. I wish I had cooked a tad longer though because my middle still was very floppy. The most negative on food was the cheese sticks. They had sugar on them. Very weird. A cup of Nacho cheese is $2 bucks!! I do wish they had regular black olives. Overall though, extremely good pizza. An added plus is they had GF option for the wife. Best she’s ever had.
