Kingdom of Dumpling surprised me in the best way. We tried delivery on a whim and it turned out to be so good. The pork and Napa cabbage dumplings were juicy with tender skins, and the Shanghai pan fried soup dumplings had that crispy bottom with rich flavor. The eggplant tofu with rice was another standout. The sauce was flavorful without being too heavy or sweet, unlike a lot of versions you get elsewhere. Garlic pea shoots were fresh and simple, and the farmer’s cucumber was cold and refreshing, though it could have been marinated longer. Together, everything made for such a satisfying meal. I have pretty high standards for Chinese delivery and am rarely impressed, but this hit. They even sell their dumplings frozen if you want to stock up at home. A random delivery experiment turned into a new go-to spot for us. Very impressed.

The eggplant dish and fried tofu are my absolute favorites: always fresh, perfectly seasoned, and super satisfying. I’ve tried the chive dumplings and string beans too, but eggplant is the star — highly recommend. The place is small and a bit cramped, with about 5–6 tables squeezed in, so it’s best for 2–4 people, not large groups. Tables can be a bit sticky, but it’s what you’d expect from a casual, affordable Chinese spot. Still one of the best for the price.

This is one of San Francisco best underrated places. The prices are amazingly pocket friendly, and the food was insanely Delicious. We had ordered dumplings, chicken, fried rice soup, dumplings, and pancakes. I love the fried rice. It was so flavourful and very comforting. The dumplings were great to, and the pancakes were loaded with meat. Definitely, this is a place which I will visit many more times in the future.
