Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

A top contender for best sandwiches in Baltimore!! Small cafe/restaurant located just 3 min away from Johns Hopkins north exit. The sandwiches were unique and delicious and the apple cider and black coffee were as well. Seating and parking is very limited, so the place is ideal for grab and go/quick chat. Looking forward to trying the rest of their menu

1st timers at University location. Cool little spot. We sat, but more designed for takeout. Very friendly and cheerful staff, who helped us with our choices. And food was yum - delicious! And don't forget the sweets.

I was happy that I was able to find a parking spot nearby. Kitsch is located in the heart of Charles Village and Johns Hopkins University Homewood campus area. Found this little spot tuked inside the corner of the Carlyle Apartment Homes. Upon entry, I was immediately greeted and felt a sense of warmth from the sweetest soul. I had the choice of any egg: scrambled, fried, over easy; choice of bread, choice of protein, choice of veggies and choice of sauces. I decided on a scrambled egg sandwich on a mutli-grain with lettuce, tomato, Duke mayonnaise, and bacon. I did purchase some fermented beverages and was in awe to discover they were made from Baltimore and gives back to Baltimore City schools. I couldn't wait to get home to dive into my sandwich, and was happy that it stayed hot enough to still enjoy.... and sweet baby Jesus, I enjoyed every bite of my sandwich. Would definitely come back and hope this spot will be here to stay. Flavor: 🥪🥪🥪🥪🥪 Decor: 🥪🥪🥪🥪🥪 Customer Service: 🥪🥪🥪🥪🥪 Convenience: 🥪🥪🥪🥪
