I usually go to a restaurant 3 times before I make a review unless the experience was just inexcusably horrible and not just a "bad day." I've only been here twice. The verdict? Koi Fusion is amazing, y'all. Is it pricey? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely, yes. First off, the atmosphere is very chill and laid back despite the room being prone to "loudness" just due to the acoustics. If you want a nice quite place to eat, I suggest coming during the non-rush hours so that you're not overwhelmed. It can get a little echo-y due to the way the walls/ceilings lend themselves to natural sound. I usually always sit at the bar since I dine alone most of the time. I also usually come during the non-peak hours so service has never been an issue and is above and beyond, so I can't speak to how it is when it gets busy, but I usually carry a little grace for spots like this when it does get busy. Let's get into the food. The first time I went there I had the Butterfly Blossom, one of their featured cocktails (gin, lychee & yuzu liqueur, butterfly pea flower syrup, lime juice, & ginger beer), Miso Chicken Wonton Soup, Scallion Pancakes (with Thai curry sauce and house-made chicken meatballs) and the Seared Pepper Tuna (with chili-crust & Ponzu sauce). Amazing. 100/10. Delicious, filling, and worth every penny. I went back today and started with the Butterfly Blossom again and the Miso with tofu, and they are not stingy with the tofu at all! And much to my absolute joy and excitement, they have added soup dumplings to the menu. You guys, I've been PINING for soup dumplings here locally in the SBC. I had yet to find a place that offered them. I've been having to drive to Dallas or Houston to find them. These dumplings did NOT disappoint. I had 2 orders of these little pillows of heaven and I savored every single bite. So delicious.10000/10 recommend. This is a place to splurge at. It is not cheap, but the quality of food is worth it and I will continue to stuff my face with those dumplings as long as they continue to have them!

Went here for a friends birthday and we loved it! Very good menu with well curated sushi rolls. Especially love the sushi bites and the drinks! The drinks are great!

First of all, I would like to warn anyone wanting to try this place that it’s very pricey; I’ll include our receipt to show the price of things. That being said, I think it was worth every penny. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the drinks were 10/10! Definitely make a reservation if you’re planning on going; the place gets pretty busy. This place is great for a special occasion/date night if you’re wanting to splurge. Try it out if it’s in your budget.
