You know a place is good when you’re already looking forward to your next visit before you’ve even walked out the door. Kool Beanz Café never disappoints. Hands down my favorite place to eat in Tallahassee. The atmosphere is casual, fun, and welcoming. The portions are generous, the food is packed with flavor, and the service is warm, attentive, and friendly, which immediately makes you feel right at home. One of the things I love most is that the menu constantly changes so there’s always something new to try and fall in love with. Every visit feels fresh, yet the quality is consistently incredible. On our most recent visit, there were so many tempting options on the menu that picking just one was nearly impossible. We ended up ordering several dishes and finished the night with dessert. Every single bite was fantastic.

Greta was a lovely server, and the food was delish! I got the maduros and black bean cakes for a nice and filling vegetarian lunch! I sat at the counter and enjoyed watching the buzz of the kitchen and flames from the stove. Great solo lunch vibe. Also, Sammy is whipping up those salads like nobody’s business!! 5 star every time I come

If I could give 6 stars I would- wow! Amazing service, delicious food, reasonable prices, and a homey atmosphere. Everything was fantastic, and our server Jessica made the night & was so knowledgeable about the menu, she even helped me (super indecisive) navigate the menu. The wine list was very inclusive and reflected some unique wines & flavors. Also lots of GF/DF stuff!! Gluten free friendly :) Such a great spot and a true Tallahassee Gem!
