Kosta’s Taverna

In reality, I will rarely choose Greek food as a dinner choice. Not because it's bad, but because I love other food options more. However, we had a double date planned and Kosta's was chosen for us. One of the best choices ever. The atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you walk in; friendly greeting within seconds of walking in, calming colors of blue and white adorn every wall with charming tablecloths on each table, and cute decor. Service was immediate with a carafe of water and a huge smile. I loved the vibe! Ordered a German Hefeweizen that came cold and frothy. Next came the Greek salad with the most juicy, crisp tomatoes, green peppers and cucumbers, then heavily sprinkled with feta cheese, a pinch of capers, and a side of the best Greek dressing I've ever tasted. I was originally taken aback that there was no lettuce, but real Greek salad doesn't have lettuce! I had no idea. Hubby and I shared the Broiler Mix from the appetizer menu so we could sample multiple items. The Broiler mix has 2 chicken skewers, 2 beef skewers, 2 Kefta patties, 2 chorizo, 2 pitas, fries, tomato wedges and a healthy dollop of tzatziki. The pita tasted homemade; it was soft, thick without being too think and didn't taste chalky. The skewers were exceptionally cooked...tender, flavorful pieces of chicken and beef. The kefta (lamb & beef) patties had a nice texture, which was enhanced with the herbaceous tzatziki sauce. The only disappointment was the chorizo as it was overcooked and dry. It was easy to overlook as everything else was a shining star. We would go back in a heartbeat....totally made me want to explore more Greek food there!

Been to pretty much every other Greek place around and this one blows them all away. Zullee is pretty good, but this is just next level. Not a hummus fan but Kosta's Hummus and fresh pita and tzatziki is all out of this world phenomenal. The Greek salad is next level. The gyros are next level. Does not compare to other places. A little pricey but for the quality and quantity you get it is WELL worth it.

My bf adores this place & so do I! We come in quite often because of the many tasty food options to choose from! Not only is the atmosphere here very inviting but so are all of the employees! The food is absolutely magnificent, the presentation & display is beautiful and all of the different dishes are delectable in their own unique ways! advise you to try their Calamari Fries appetizer, it’s 100% one of my favorite dishes here! I fully recommend everyone to come try Kosta’s food, you will almost always leave full, happy, & well taken care of!
