Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

When peddling the trail, make sure to stop in and say howdy to the kind gentleman that owns and runs this quaint little spot. Nice menu and delicious ice tea will be sure to keep you moving down the gravel. He typically has a fantastic soft serve ice cream too! Oh, and BTW camping is available with a hot shower for a small fee. As a bonus, the soft serve cone is free with the price of camping. Don’t pass on this gem!

This place is a welcome treat along the trail. We appreciated the food options. We hadn't seen anything containing a vegetable in days! We had a nice chat with the owner. The owner is not a townie, but a cyclist who has been on a lot of adventures. Very engaging conversation. Spend your money with folks who ride! Our sandwiches were good, had a very pleasant experience.

STOP AT THIS GEM. Cyclists, do not miss this spot on the Katy trail. There are only a handful of businesses along this trail that are truly serving the cycling community and this is one you should support. The proprietor is a cyclist who is happy to swap stories as well as serve up some of the freshest food at very affordable prices you will find on the trail. The menu has something for everyone and there is plenty of shade to sit in. I highly recommend a stop at this trail side gem. Support small local businesses that make trail systems like the Katy worth coming to.
