Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We got the chicken kaarage & duck ramen on cold rainy day. Unique broth was delicious w/ great umami. Chicken crunchy & piping hot. Indoor seating accommodates 22. Service was fast. Definitely worth coming back when in vicinity. Prices reasonable for bouncy fresh ramen!

Nick was highly energetic and was a great service, infact he was cheerful and good vibes. The atmosphere gives the sense that it's very popular and busy during lunch time. Such as the nature of any ramen restaurants. In terms of the Ramen, it was very good! The broth is superly full of umami and the ramen noodles was immaculate, the bowl was well set together to make for a perfect Ramen bowl. Even though the meat was tender I didn't enjoy the meat as much as I hoped in taste. Overall it was a great experience, and I am happy to go back and try more dishes!

Overall quite a good experience at Kumako Den. We had a very short wait when we got there, and the staff were very friendly. The ramen was definitely quite good; the noodles were amazing, as was the char siu. The broth was overall decent but not as amazing as the rest! My only gripe was that it was quite pricey; for a ramen and beer each for two people, ended up being over $60, which felt a bit steep. Overall very decent though!
