Kyo Ramen & Poke Bowl

First time trying this place. Ordered via Door dash. The food arrived way past the estimated time. The Door dash driver informed me he waited another 20 minutes for my order as the staff told them they had not even noticed my order. I ordered 2 smoothies and they didn’t even give the driver a cup holder. I ordered California rolls, spring rolls , 2 strawberry banana smoothies and some ramen . The smoothies were very watered down , almost had no flavor. The spring rolls along with the red sauce they come with were yummy. The sushi was also good. As far as the Kyo Miso ramen (I picked seafood ) the noodles were the best part. The broth was not flavorful enough and the shrimp had a weird taste to them.

One of the best sushi experiences I’ve had! Our group celebrated a birthday and thanks to the staff, we had a wonderful time. The food is incredible (esp. the curry chicken ramen), the portions are filling and the service was excellent, shout out to Moises. Highly recommend Kyo Ramen!

Fantastic Japanese food served with a smile in a good location. The food was incredibly hot and fresh. There was a nice touch of elevation from the garnishes. Like the saphron strands on the curry ramen. Pricing was good especially if you come for happy hour. However, the restaurant feels like it's trying to be something it's not. Trying to cater to an audience that won't appreciate it anyways. Some menu items retain their romanji translation while other menu items are translated entirely to English in a culture washed sort of way that felt awkward and boring. The music made no sense for the atmosphere of the well designed dining room and was honestly terrible sounding. My wife and I have been to many East Asian countries including Japan on multiple occasions. The food was truly well spirited, flavorful, and beautifully crafted. But the restaurant itself seems to lack an identity. Catering to a demographic that it shouldn't feel the need to cater to. This is all to say the restaurant lacks the same soul that the food has. Hopefully Kyo Ramen can find a way to be confident in itself and its origins. We'll be back for the food either way though.
