Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Chef Antonio is from Puglia, Italia. Thats Southern Italy on the boot part of the country. Small dining room. Make reservations. We got the multiple courses. I originally wanted Cacio e pepe so the chef was nice enough to add it. My favorite of all the dishes. The panna cotta dessert had the most amazing sweet yogurty flavor with a home made strawberry jam on it. Soooo goooood!!! Our server was a very nice and attentive young lady. She explained everything and brought out the plates at the perfect times. Chef Antonio also spoke with us. Super nice guy!. Atmosphere is very family home style. Not a ton of space. I will definitely come back for that Cacio e pepe! My cousin David recommends the pizza as well. This is authentic italian cuisine.

Small and cozy trattoria with outside dining aswell, Antonio (owner/chef from Italy) took good care of us, food was awesome just like his hometown Puglia Italia, we'll be back for some more delicious arugula salad , chicken piccata, pasta with shrimp and that tasty sweet wine primitive. Love it ! Now you don't have to go to Italia to eat,

If you haven't heard of La Bella Pizza Trattoria Italiana in San Fernando, let me be the one to change that. This little spot may fly under the radar, but the experience it delivers is anything but ordinary. The food was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The Diavola pizza had the perfect kick, and the truffle pizza was rich and indulgent in the best way possible. The lasagna was pure comfort — hearty, flavorful, and clearly made with love. And the tiramisu? Easily one of the best I've ever had. Every single dish that hit the table was delicious. A huge part of what makes this place so special is Chef Antonio, who hails from Puglia, Italy. He actually came out to greet us personally, guided us through a wine selection imported from his home region, and made sure every detail was just right. He sources many of his ingredients directly from Italian markets and puts his personal stamp of approval on every dish that leaves his kitchen — and you can absolutely taste the difference. We came as a family to celebrate a birthday, and Chef Antonio surprised us with extra desserts as a special touch. As we were leaving, he said goodbye and gave each of us a warm hug. That kind of hospitality is rare and unforgettable. If you're looking for an authentic Italian dining experience with incredible food and a chef who truly pours his heart into everything he does, look no further. I cannot recommend La Bella Pizza Trattoria Italiana enough. We will absolutely be back!
