He made excellent pasta recommendations tailored to each of us, and even let us know they had gluten-free and dairy-free options, which wasn’t listed on the menu. I had the pasta with sausage, and it was exactly the hearty, satisfying meal I’ve been craving. Frank also shared some great tips on local hotspots—we’re excited to check those out next! The pasta sauce was rich and flavorful, and the Chicken Marsala was perfectly cooked—tender, moist, and delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and we left with leftovers for a second meal. I am ashamed to say I've lived in Jamestown for almost four years and never dined here until today. My husband was always stuck on Landmark or the Chop House. Well, he was very pleased with his meal today. We've had Calamari at various locations all over the country, and we were very surprised with the caliber of what we got at La Cucina. It was extremely tender, perfectly breaded, and seasoned. I had the Lobster Ravioli. I assume it was Pacific or warm water lobster as it was light on flavor, but the Ravioli had plenty in it, and the Rose sauce didn't overpower it. Hubby had the Seafood Combo and was very satisfied. The Mussels, Squid, and Clams were very tender. The Shrimp was a little tough but still flavorful and edible. He felt the dish overall was very good, just too plentiful. The service was stellar. We were too full for dessert but will definitely return soon.
