I have never been to this location and I wish I would have come here a long time ago. The entire atmosphere if classy, yet simple and welcoming to individuals that may be outside of that realm in the moment (ex. Roofer BF still in work clothes from closing a roof). The service was amazing, the food was phenomenal and the drinks are with every cent. Give Lago Cellars a try, you'll be happy you did!

So today is the 16th wedding anniversary for my wife and I. We made the best mistake of our lives. This was so fluke… but a great one. We were driving around thinking what the heck is there to eat in Geneva on the Lake! First we drove in the direction of this place, then we turned around and drove the other way. We went through Geneva on the lake itself, and saw a few place, but nothing seemed welcoming. Some drove to the opposite direction (which we started in and came across…. Lago Cellars Winery & Enoteca. When we first walked in, we thought… an Italian restaurant and wine restaurant, attached to a tiki bar… Uh… Heck yeah! We were seated by Rissa whom is not only the GM, but a great waitress and multitasker too. We ordered. My wife ordered Calamari Bistecca. I ordered the Peppers and Sausage. Sheesh… these were two of THE ABSOLUTE BEST dishes that we have tried new in over 5 years… in ANY restaurant, Hands down. I even ordered the Peppers and Sausage to go. Next.. we both got this dish called “Pollo Mediterranean” Y’all Y’all Y’all Y’all Y’all… This chicken had the perfect texture, seasonings, the vegetables and potatoes were also perfectly seasoned and textured… These people did not miss, skip, throw or drop a beat… This food has rhythm! I literally ask to meet the chef. Y’all… THIS WAS JUST A PERSON FILLING IN…. Imagine what the regulars here do! I asked him to come tomthenlakehouse we were in and cook what we had for dinner as our private chef. I even made sure to tip him… I believe his name was Nick! It was also dope of him, to come out to meet us! To top it off, they gave us a complimentary slice of their sultry and steamy tiramisu cake. This cake was not only unmatched, but the flavor profile was definitely that of a professional touch and it has a strategic flavor pattern as you bite through. Sheesh! I’ll be back! And y’all better beat me there. Lastly, we met Chris… he is the owner of the restaurant! This guy is awesome too. Meeting him let me know who sets the tone and energy of this restaurant. It’s him. Let’s talk wine! When going into a winery, you always purchase the wine from their producers. Can regret it. A perfect red wine blend with a white wine background for balance. Magnificent! My wife doesn’t drink and she even left with her own bottle of wine, that although is not alcoholic, Is definitely top notch “near drinking”. Between the people, the ambiance, the food, the good vibes and the hospitality as a whole… We definitely got our monies worth, and so will you. This coming spring… our plan is to come back when it’s warm, and we can bring our whole family. Until then, Don’t miss out as this being your next winter weekend one tank trip, up the street run, or your last minute lounge and dine! If you do, At least we won’t be able to say we missed out on this place. You shouldn’t either! Check them out, you will not regret it.

We have been coming to Geneva for years and have never found a nice restaurant to eat dinner. This place is a hidden gem! Everything is made from scratch and absolutely worth the wait! The pasta and sauces are all homemade. We got the pasta flight with spaghetti, alfredo and rigatoni with vodka sauce. The Delmonico steak was so tender. Prices are very reasonable and the service is amazing. We will absolutely be back!
