Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Delicious food. Cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Great place to Spend quality time with friends and family over dinner. Absolutely wonderful host! We ordered veggie combo, Lalibela special kitfo, and Ethiopian coffee which was more than enough for three people. Food is delicious, not spicy, and has a great spread.

So happy to have this restaurant in the neighborhood. The food is delicious and the hospitality is genuinely warm, making for a wonderful dining experience. We ordered the Lega Tibs and the Veg Combo, both were incredibly satisfying. Noticing that we enjoy spicy food, they thoughtfully brought out mitmita powder and berbere sauce without us even having to ask, which added an extra layer of flavor and heat. Still thinking about last night’s dinner and already looking forward to our next visit!

Haile greeted me with such a warm welcome. The decor is colorful with a mix of Ethiopian table cloths and wall hangings. TV on the wall. Open long hours during the day which is great for if you’re hungry outside of traditional hours. I had a big plate of a vegan combo-lentils and mixed vegetable dishes. They serve alcohol and have a 2nd floor too. Welcoming, family like atmosphere.
