Landmark by the Lake

The whole dinning experience was full of ups and downs. The dinning area must be under renovation because the booths were in the middle of the room which was a little strange. There also was no music or anything playing, so the restaurant was just silent and it made a quiet conversation seem loud. Service started slow, but once we got going it improved. As for the food, we got the 3 piece cod fish fry and were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The fish had a tempura type beer batter that was very light and the fish itself tasted very good. The fries were also very good. You get a soup or salad with the meal, and we both picked the clam chowder. It was awful. Oh, and no beer on tap! Overall, the atmosphere was weird which makes it hard to want to come back, but I think we might give them a try for breakfast.

The food and service was wonderful. I ordered the El Jardin omelette and my girlfriend ordered the Florentine Benedict both off of the specials board. We both loved our food. Thank you

The place is humble but the flavors are powerful. I got the Mexican Benedict (with chorizo and avocado)and the eggs were perfectly cooked, just delicious. Everything is cook at the moment, so that adds points to this. At last, my chocolate milk, but that was just ok. Big portions for a decent price. Love this place!
