Walked in just before noon on Friday and there was absolutely no customers. That should have been the first sign. The man that took my order was dressed professionally and clean. He took my order and it was prepared promptly. I took it bag to our truck and we hit the road. When we opened up the box with the pastor pork burrito it was bright red! Whoa what on earth and with pineapple chunks? My husband said it was like they removed all the meat and left all the chunks of grissel. The daily special for Friday was a chilie rellano. I could barely cut it with a sharp steak knife. Most definitely microwaved. I wish we were not 80 miles away now, because I would return this for a refund, seeing we could not get half way through these unedible meals. Not gonna recommend this place and not returning. I hope we don't get sick from this. Yuck.

I love a good chimichang and Las Palmas did not disappoint! The shredded beef was really flavorful, and you could taste each ingredient both individually and together. It was really fantastic. And because the service was good I didn't mind spending $20 plus tip on the meal. Normally I would be upset at that price but the food was so good and the service so good that I didn't have any trouble with it. Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants in town.

When we arrived at the restaurant, it was obvious they were busy and understaffed. Even still, we were greeted promptly and told it would be about a 30 minute wait. We waited in the casino. We came back in the restaurant and waited a few minutes longer. Again, being recognized for our wait. Our server was very apologetic for our wait, he was friendly and very attentive. The nachos and fajitas were delicious!!! The mango margarita is so amazing. And the Pina colada is so good! I'd say this was a wonderful visit, even with only 2 staff, and a restaurant full! We will definitely be back!
