Later Alligator is a such a gem! We stop here on roadtrips from the Baltimore/DC area to my family home in Ohio, and it's always a fantastic time!! From the historic decor to the beautifully welcoming sentiments posted around the restaurant, it always feels like a cross between going on an adventure and being welcomed home. The drinks and food menu are extensive and everything tastes fresh, fantastic, and like it was made with care. The service has always been kind and attentive, and the sense of humor infused through the building and the staff makes this play a joy to stop at !

I’ve been coming here for about five years, and it’s still one of my favorite places to go in Wheeling. It’s a unique spot with great service and delicious food. Their curry sauce is one of the best I’ve ever had. I usually get the Over-the-Edge tacos, but honestly, everything on the menu is good. The restaurant has a great vibe and really cool décor. They also have outdoor seating, and it’s a great place whether you’re dining in or taking food to go—I’ve done both, and it’s always a great experience. We all had a different crepe but sadly I didn’t get other pictures. I had the Blueberry Hill, and it was phenomenal. My friend really enjoyed the Lox crepe. We also enjoyed the focaccia and potato salad. The atmosphere is so adorable and unique. Even my 1 year old enjoyed this restaurant!
