Holy cow. Might possibly be the best Indian spot in town. (I’ve been to almost all of them here in Cville) Ordered the duck portobello masala and the gucci subz korma (added lamb) and both were EXCELLENT!! But especially the duck portobello masala!! The curry had so much flavor, it was rich and creamy, and just so SO delicious. Highly recommend! Service needs work though. We were kind of ignored towards the end, waited a while to get the check, and when they did, they brought us the wrong one, which we then had to wait more for the correct one. They also didn’t give us more rice when I had asked three times for more. Not a huge deal but definitely makes me consider getting takeout instead next time. Overall, food is INCREDIBLE!

Had an amazing experience here. The place is well maintained and offers a variety of Indian food. Everything was delicious and the customer service was amazing. The staff ensured everything (meat) is Halal. Clean restrooms, and high chair available. Street parking or paid parking lots/decks available.

We had the veg Khumani Kofta, garlic naan, and gulab jamun parfait—everything was perfect. The chai tasted just like authentic Indian tea. A great downtown spot, ideal for a nice walk after lunch or dinner.
