Lit Pizza

I visited the Zachary location and waited in line for forty-five (45) minutes. When the server came up she began to serve the family behind me, as if I was invisible. Once I corrected that issue, I ordered my food and waited some more. I got to the car and expected steam to come from the box, but no steam. The canzone was below room temperature. I couldn't believe the food was nearly cold after just coming from the oven. By this time I was too tired and tried to make the best of it. The canzone was not good at all. It had no flavor and almost cold. I was very disappointed with everything.

This was our first time at Lit Pizza, and we're very pleased. The staff was friendly and personable. I found it intriguing being able to watch our pizzas being made right in front of us, and they didn't take long to bake. Fresh parmesan is available once the pizza is out of the oven. Sweet/unsweer tea, lemonade, soft drinks, or water are available. A blood orange lemonade is available, but it tastes like kool-aid so I don't suggest it unless you like kool-aid. Everything is self-service once you receive your pizza. I have only one criticism: The decor is very industrial and the tables and chairs reflect that look look. The tables aren't so bad, but the chairs are God-awful, metal things only about 14 inches across. Most adult butts are significantly wider, even at a normal size. This restaurant is not one to linger at because of the chairs. The restaurant does have picnic style tables as well. We'll definitely return because the pizza and staff are awesome.
